What to Expect During Your Session?
I offer maternity session indoor in the comfort of your home or outdoor in a nearby park or lake side.
We’ll keep things natural and laid-back with simple prompts to help you feel relaxed and comfortable. You can expect a mix of fun, candid shots and soft, natural poses that show off your growing family.
Duration of your session should be somewhere around 45 minutes to 1.5 hours depending if there are children also involved in the session.
I am a natural light photographer. Sunsets give me life and overcast days make the richest warm tones. I love nature in the background of images and love to capture movement.
I have favorite locations based on season and weather that I can recommend you, but if f you have a favorite or meaningful location that you'd like to use, let me know! I am completely open to trying new places.
As timing of the session, we will aim for Golden Hour (one hour before the sunset) when the light is soft and magical. If we book a session and it ends up being completely cloudy and overcast with no chance of sun, which happens very often in Berlin, then anytime is a good time to shoot.
If you have looked through my portfolio, you'll have noticed that most of my sessions are done during golden hour or during a sunset. I do realize that this may not be ideal during some summer when the sun sets later and there will be younger kids joining us for the sessions. I try and encourage a later nap that day, especially if you love the sunset feel to images. Together we will choose a beautiful location that meets the vision you have and also has beautiful light.
Styling and What to Wear
Included in your session is access to my exclusive client wardrobe, a collection of timeless pieces specially chosen to make your photos look beautiful. Think soft fabrics, flattering silhouettes, options to show or cover skin. Beyond looking beautiful, it saves families hundreds they’d otherwise spend on outfits you might never wear again.
